Alarm + CCTV footage deliver construction site security
Videofied have integrated alarm movement detectors with a CCTV camera that delivers 10 seconds of video when the alarm goes off. The system is completely wireless and uses a mobile phone sim card to send the video to a security monitoring control room.
The operator who receives the alarm and sees intruders on the video can then alert the police who are then much more likely to attend site because the alarm has been verified using video footage. This makes Videofied an ideal solution for the protection of valuable materials and equipment on construction sites.
The Videofied alarm system is fully wireless and the detectors can operate outdoors in a temperature range of -20 to +60 degrees Celsius. This makes the system portable and enables the detectors to be fitted to poles that have been secured in a bucket of cement. At the end of the day the site supervisor can point the detectors at the valuable parts on site and set the alarm. If the alarm goes the alarm signal and the 10 seconds of video is sent to a security monitoring control room where it can be analaysed. Construction site theft can be reduced by capturing images of the people taking parts off the site. These may be contractors who you will recognize or it may be an organized gang who are hitting a number of sites regularly. Your evidence may lead to an arrest and stop the gang from operating. Over 80 arrests have been made in NSW using footage captured on Videofied cameras.
