Watch IPCCTV security cameras in real time on iPad

You can now view up to 24 IPCCTV security cameras on a single screen on the Apple iPad using the iRaC3 command centre from Lextech Labs. You can tap on a camera feed and it blows up full screen on the iPad which is a perfect size for a person who is mobile and wants to keep an eye on what is going on. It is an ideal solution for large facilities like schools, shopping centres and councils.

Below is a short video captured on an iPhone of an iPad set up for a school client of ours.

Notice the use of a drop down list. The school uses this list to group cameras into areas like 'north wing' or types like 'entries' for example.

On temporary base, you can use iPad as a cctv camera but how can it be used like regular cctv cameras. For the security of your home you can use but not for long time.

Hi Alfred,

Try going to the Apple App store and downloading an application called ‘Eagle Eyes-lite’. This is a free app that is designed for iPhone but should work Ok on iPad. If you like the functions of this app then you can upgrade to the ‘Eagle Eyes-plus’. Make sure your DVR is accessible on the internet and go ahead and set it up.
