Aperio Technology from ASSA ABLOY enables wireless possibilities for on-line door control.

Aperio is a revolutionary technology designed to complement new and existing electronic access control systems.  It provides users with an intelligent and cost-effective way to upgrade the security level of their internal doors.

The technology is based on a short distance wireless protocol, designed to link an existing online access control system with an Aperio enabled mechanical lock.

Panel manufacturers such as CardaxInner Range and Integrated Control Technology have already embraced Aperio Technology, creating interfaces to the Aperio Communication Hub (pictured below)

*Currently prox card technology is Mifare Smart Card.  A future release of Aperio will include HID iClass technology.
