Alarm History Log on Bosch Solution 16 Plus Solution 64 Alarm
We are often asked by customers how to work out which zone went into alarm after the alarm has gone off. With the Bosch Solution 16 Plus and Solution 64 you can view the History Log to give you a list of previous alarm events. The large LCD screen uses three lines to give you all the information you need.
Line 1 – Gives you the event code (which does not mean much to and end user), the time and date of the event, and how the event was handled. Event handling refers to whether the event was just logged by the system (L) or whether the alarm event was sent by the system (S) to a control room or via sms depending on how the panel is set up to report.
Line 2 – Gives you the name of the zone where the event occurred
Line 3 – Gives you the event description including usernames of who disarmed the alarm for example.
To view the History Log you need to enter the <master code> (which is normally the code for user number 1 in the panel) followed by the <Menu> button. Then press 7,0,2 on the main panel. From there you can use the up and down arrows at the bottom right hand side of the keypad to navigate through the event list. Then press <OK> or <Menu> to exit.
